Research My research falls within the field of Urban Informatics and focuses on the analysis of urban environments from the perspective of pedestrians. Specifically, it addresses: the perception and characterization of urban spaces; walkability and the experience of walking; pedestrian geolocation and navigation; the analysis of images and urban data; the use of virtual and augmented reality to study urban environments; the relationship between observations at the pedestrian scale and characterization at the city scale. This research primarily employs methods drawn from geomatics, computer vision, spatial data analysis, and virtual reality. CV HAL Coordination of the ANR-25-CE22-2248 CITY-STEP Project – How Urban Morphology and Environmental Factors Influence Walking An ANR project coordinated by Centrale Nantes, in partnership with GEOLOC – Université Gustave Eiffel and Nantes Métropole, among others, CITY-STEP examines the relationships between the characteristics of the urban environment and the actual experience of walking. The project combines field data, kinematic measurements, pedestrian perceptions, and characterization of urban environments to develop walkability indicators at various scales. https://city-step.fr
