Kartikey is a Senior Scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing, A*STAR, in Singapore, where he works on applying theory, modelling, and simulations to solve engineering challenges in advanced manufacturing and thermo-mechanical systems.
Kartikey Joshi will visit the MECNUM team (Couplings and Numerical Methods for Complex Structures) at the Research Institute in Civil and Mechanical Engineering (GeM), at the invitation of Lucas Lestandi, a senior lecturer at Centrale Nantes. His visit is part of the SAMSARA project led by Centrale Nantes in partnership with the Institute for High Performance Computing (A*Star), the IMN (National Centre for Scientific Research), LS2N and GeM. He will discuss with the teams the modelling of steels and stainless steels produced by WAAM. He will also give a talk at a seminar for the MECNUM team.
