LiftWEC

LiftWEC involves the development of a new wave energy converter whose main interface with waves is via hydrodynamic lifting forces.
The aim is to determine the potential of this concept to produce renewable energy at a commercially competitive price, while guaranteeing minimal environmental/social impact.

The LiftWEC project has received funding from the European Union as part of the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement no. 851885).
