On April 3, 2025 from 13:30 To 15:30
David Grégoire is a professor of Mechanics in the LFCR Laboratory at UPPA (Pau University), specialising in failure, transport properties and multiphysics couplings in porous media. He will be visiting Centrale Nantes at the invitation of the Research Institute in Civil and Mechanical Engineering (GeM), more specifically the DURPRO and INGVER research groups.
Seminar topic: Toward a unified fluid/solid DFT-based formulation to describe multiphysics couplings appearing in nanoporous materials (confinement effects, adsorption-induced swelling and water phase changes). The seminar will be held on Thursday 3 April at 1.30pm at Centrale Nantes in Lecture Theatre E (1 rue de la Noë, 44300 Nantes). It is open to all. Learn more on the GeM website
