Six months of innovation since the launch in October 2024 have led to significant breakthroughs:

  • Optimised thermal management for components subject to electrical stress, improving their efficiency and reliability.
  • A state-of-the-art test bench, accelerating the evaluation of next-generation energy recovery solutions.
  • A digital twin of a vehicle, a powerful simulation tool that will shape the future of thermal energy recovery.

The day was marked by high-impact discussions and concluded with a visit to the test tanks of the Research Laboratory in Hydrodynamics, Energetics & Atmospheric Environment (LHEAA) and the engine test benches of the D2SE team, reinforcing the synergy between research and application.

TETReIS Chair (Thermal & Efficient Thermoplastic components Recovering energy in an Innovative System)

The TETReIS Chair, launched in October 2024, brings together teams from Centrale Nantes and MoldTecs SAS. The aim of the partnership is to develop innovative thermoplastic components to optimise heat loss from vehicles, thereby improving their efficiency and range. The field of activity covers electric vehicles as well as hydrogen and alternative fuel vehicles.
