École navale and Naval Group visit Centrale Nantes campus

Vice-Admiral Laurent Hemmer of the École navale, visited the Centrale Nantes campus on Thursday 30 November for a meeting with NAVAL GROUP.

Vice-Admiral Hemmer took the opportunity to visit the school's research platforms used as part of the Joint Laboratory of Marine Technology (Centrale Nantes / Naval Group): ocean engineering tanks, engine test benches and the additive manufacturing and bio-fabrication platform.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the decarbonisation of maritime transport and to exchange views with researchers of the CARGO cluster.
